Demo Session
Demos Session at SBBD 2025 is a discussion forum for experience exchange and presentation of innovative solutions. We invite submissions from researchers, developers, and professionals from both academia and industry who are interested in practical and functional solutions to relevant problems involving data and information management technology.
Submission Guidelines
Authors must submit a paper of up to 6 pages, including images and references, describing the key features of their demonstration/application. Submissions to the demo session are NOT subject to a double-blind review. The author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) must be included in the submitted paper.
Each submission will be reviewed by at least three program committee members based on originality, practical impact, technical contribution, and presentation. Along with the submitted paper, authors are strongly encouraged to provide a demo video link (screencast) of up to 5 minutes showcasing the demonstration/application. This will be highly valued and considered a distinguishing feature in the review process. Additionally, authors are encouraged to share the source code and/or a single binary/executable in a version-controlled repository (e.g., GitHub or BitBucket).
Submissions must be written in Portuguese or English and formatted according to the SBC template (click here to access the LaTeX template). Only electronic submissions in PDF format will be considered. The link to the demo video and/or the online repository must be included in a footnote on the first page of the paper (at the first mention). Please upload your submission by the deadline through the JEMS website (click here to submit).
At least one author of each accepted paper must register and attend the conference to present the work. Accepted papers will be published in the Extended Proceedings of SBBD 2025.
