Full papers submitted to SBBD must not have been simultaneously submitted to any other forum (conference or journal) nor have already been published elsewhere. Accepting a paper implies that at least one of its authors will register for the symposium to present it. Papers must be submitted by the deadline through the JEMS website.
Submitted papers will undergo a double-blind; reviewing process, where the authors; identities are concealed from the reviewers, and the reviewers; identities are hidden from the authors. The papers will be reviewed based on originality, relevance, technical soundness, and clarity of presentation. Industrial or application papers will be reviewed based on innovation context and potential.
SBBD full papers will have a two-round review process for borderline papers where the authors can see a version of the reviews and write a rebuttal to defend their paper against the reviewers; comments. In the rebuttal, the authors may propose to do a few things to fix small problems in the paper for the final camera-ready version of the paper.
